Blessed To Have Worked With Bhansali, Says Ranveer
Moviegoers that have watched the versatile Ranveer Singh evolve from a gangly youth in Bang Baaja Baraat to a brutal conqueror in Padmavaat will accept the fact that the actor has been effortless and brilliant in each of his onscreen performances. The star in a recent interview has humbly attributed his success to the directors he has worked for like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, Rohit Shetty and Kabir Khan. During a short exchange of pleasantries at the recently concluded Hello Hall of Fame Awards, Ranveer said that he felt blessed about working with some of the best talent in the industry.
The success of his recent movie Padmavat has made him the youngest actor to enter the Rs.200 crore club that till recently was the domain of stalwarts of Indian cinema who are all above 40 years. IANS quoted the young star statement that his journey with Sanjay Leela Bhansali with whom he has done three of his best movies has been very enriching. He has been getting several exciting offers that have kept him challenged and stimulated as a creative individual. Speaking about his upcoming creative ventures Ranveer stated that they are keeping him busy and excited.
When queried about his next release, Ranveer Singh retorted that his ongoing project Gully Boy is half done and the shooting will be completed by April-May after which he will move to his next project Simmba with Rohit Shetty. He expressed his excitement of working with Rohit Shetty in a full length feature film for the first time who Ranveer has always admired for interesting masala films that are loved by audiences across all levels. While he is essaying the role of a Mumbai street rapper in Gully Boy, his romantic interest is being played by Alia Bhat and both actors have posted pictures of themselves working out at a local gym on Instagram.
