Beware Of ‘BJP Ways’ Warns Siddaramaiah Ahead Of Polls

The ruling Congress in Karnataka looks as if they are thoughtful of the BJP’s so-called methods in terms of elections and because of that Congress party leaders are constantly alerting workers to watch out for any external elements in the run up to the elections in the state. As Assembly elections are coming up in less than three months away, the notice to their cadre came right from the top management. So, the chief minister Siddaramaiah told the party workers at an important strategy meeting of party office bearers that there is no election in any other state at the time that Karnataka goes to polls. Therefore, BJP will bring in RSS workers from different portions of the country and dump them here to work for their party. Therefore, they should keep a watch on their activities.

The chief minister further said to their party workers that an election is like a war. They are the Pandavas, who are on the right path while the BJP party workers are like the Kauravas, taking the wrong path. He also added that the booth level committees must be particularly wary of attempts by the opposition to interfere with any process.

On Wednesday, the chief minister was speaking at the annual meeting of all senior officers of the state police, told officers about perfecting their intelligence skills at every police station, mostly in sensitive areas and told them to go ahead and file suo-motu cases against those who spread rumors on social media. He further told the officers that they have already booked cases against BJP MPs like Pratap Simha, Ananth Kumar Hegde and Shoba Karandlaje for their inflammatory speeches. But, they need to keep greater control on the ground level intelligence gathering on communal elements and go ahead with gadipaar orders under the Goondas Act.
