BSNL To Provide Additional Validity And Data Under Particular Prepaid Plans

BSNL, the state-operated telecom company, this week expanded the validity of particular mobile plans for prepaid users by 43% and elevated the data provided by 50%, with an intention to answer latest offer of Reliance Jio. “BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has rolled out BSNL “Happy Offer” for prepaid mobile users. It is offering 50% additional data and 43% extra validity with limitless STD, local, and roaming calls for users of prepaid mobile,” the firm claimed to the media in an interview.

Below the plan, pre-paid offer with a price tag of Rs 485 will offer 1.5 GB Internet data each day with expiry of 90 Days and the plan worth Rs 666 will offer 1.5 GB data each day with validity of 129 Days with limitless STD, local, and roaming calls. BSNL users opting for Rs 187 special tariff voucher and Rs 186 plan voucher will receive 1 GB Internet data each day with validity of 28 Days. In the same way, Rs 429 and Rs 349 offers will receive 1 GB Internet data each day with 81 Days and 54 Days validity, respectively. All the offers will provide 100 SMSs each day.

Reliance Jio earlier slashed prices of all its monthly offers by Rs 50 below where users were receiving 1 GB of Internet data each day. It also improved data limit to 1.5 GB from the current 1 GB for particular offers beginning from January 9, claimed the sources familiar with the issue to the media in an interview.

It has also lowered rate of 1 GB data to Rs 4 for a validity of 1 Day. The firm will also provides 20% additional data to consumers of Rs 399 scheme by improving its expiry by 2 Weeks below its offer of Happy New Year 2018, claimed the sources.
