Idea Cellular Rolls Out New Plan With 3G Data, Unlimited Calling At Rs 509

A new pack will be rolled out by Idea Cellular for its prepaid customers. The new plan with a recharge value of Rs 509 will be in direct competition with analogous plans from Vodafone, Reliance Jio, and Airtel. The pack will be offering 3G data, free SMS, and unlimited free calls. The validity of this plan is 84 days.

To details more about the new Rs 509 plan from Idea, it offer 1 GB of 3G data every day, free roaming outgoing calls, bundled unlimited STD & local calls, and 100 SMS every day. This plan is in direct rivalry with the Jio’s Rs 459 plan that comes with 1 GB of 4G data every day, 100 SMS every day, free calls (comprising outgoing), and free access to all the Jio applications. This plan has a validity of 84 days as well.

There is an Rs 509 plan by Reliance Jio; however, it provides 2 GB data every day and has validity of 49 days, and the other cashback and app freebies. Also, the Idea prepaid users will be entitled to cashback of up to 100% on recharges more than Rs 300 in the subsequent 1 Year. This cashback will be bifurcated into 7 money offs of Rs 51 each on the succeeding 7 recharges.

Recently, even Airtel rolled out an Rs 509 plan that provides 1 GB of 4G data every day, free roaming outgoing, unlimited STD & local calling, and 100 SMS each day for 84 days. Likewise, Vodafone has a similar Rs 509 plan. In other words, Vodafone, Airtel, and Idea Cellular are rolling the identical plan (except rather than 4G data, Idea has 3G) at the equivalent tariff.

Recently, Idea modified its Rs 198 plan available for its prepaid users to offer 1.5 GB of 3G data, rather than previous 1 GB, every day. The users of MyIdea app will receive 1 GB of additional data from the firm, totaling up the bundled data to 2.5 GB.
