The Caledonian, a magnificent Edwardian hotel that is overlooking the Edinburgh Castle, is the new addition in his collection of 650-million-dollar worth of luxury properties across the UK, the Middle East and India. The Twenty14 Holdings or T14H today declared some new plans to invest 28 million dollars for this growth and development of the historic hotel under its ownership and the group will retain its heritage and distinctive architecture.
The managing director of T14H, Adeeb Ahamed said in a statement that they are thrilled to add the iconic Caledonian to the portfolio of Twenty14 holdings. He further said that with more than hundred years of history, The Caledonian brings with it a rich legacy, charisma and unique richness.
Adeeb Ahamed further added that the company also plans to honor the Scottish landmark, while further adding to the experience the hotel already offers. He also added that among some of the plans for the site, the T14H also intends to involve local craftsmen to work on the hotel’s historic Caledonian suites.
T14H, which co-owns the landmark Sheraton Oman Hotel in Muscat, also stated that luxury and style will be the keynote of these enhancements. The exclusive additions will feature bespoke furniture, eclectic artwork and en-suite bathrooms highlighting marble and burnished chrome fittings. The latest acquisition also fits into the company strategy of investing in profitable luxury properties and at the same time preserving their historical legacy.
